The simplicity in Art: Léna Mačka

A French illustrator, who was born in 1994 in Valence, in 2014 Lena moved to Lyon and started her artistic journey by attending an art school, therefore she drowned deeper into that world and found her way through the artistic filed by creating it and expressing her thoughts in her own language that she has chosen to adopt.

Lena has several talents, beside illustrating, she also has experience as a poster designer, making short animations, tattoo art and photography.

Tenderness, and emotions in Lena’s artworks

When I first saw her profile in Instagram and her illustrations, I immediately had Van Gogh’s quotesin my mind “I want to touch people with my art, I want them to say: he feels deeply, he feels tenderly”. and then I knew that this artist whomever she is, has succeed to transform her feelings into something we can all see and feel in our various ways and also appreciate.

The drawings hold deep emotions that could clearly be seen, a balance between happiness moments and sad ones, a tenderness that occurs even in the darkest moments and loneliest one as well.

“I am someone who doesn’t know how to use words to express emotions. Fortunately, there’s drawing. It allows me to be able to tell a story that I’ve felt in a way that’s been freed through the character.”Says Léna.

Lena doesn’t only create simple characters; in fact, she creates an intimate universe of different sort of feelings and conditions in which relate to all humankind’s circumstances in life.

An atmosphere of tranquility and questioning

Don’t rush yourself, It might be uneasy to understand Lena’s characters at the first sight, you might also question yourself about the meaning behind each illustration, she makes you wonder and stay still in moments to get the point, to ask yourself “ how does the person inside this painting feel?”, and the tranquility that dominates the drawing attracts you and makes you want to know , to understand and to feel more.

She’s telling stories and we need to listen quietly and feel the unsaid words that’s she’s depicting and trying to say through her artworks.

البساطة في الفّن :لينا مَكَّيه

رسامة فرنسية مولودة عام 1994في فالانس ,انتقلت إلي مدينة ليون عام 2014لتبدء رحلتها الفنية من خلال الإلتحاق بمدرسة للفنون,ومن ثم الخوص أعمق داخل ذلك العالم والعثور علي طريقها في المجال الفني وذلك عن طريق ممارسته والتعبير عن أفكارها بلغتها الخاصة التي اختارتها لتتبنها.

تمتلك لينا العديد من المواهب إلي جانب الرسم,فلديها تجربة في مجال تصميم الملصقات وصنع الرسومات المتحركة القصيرة,فن الوشم وأيضا التصوير.

الرِّقة والعواطف في أعمال لينا الفنية

عندما شاهدت صفحة لينا الشخصية علي الإنستجرام ورسوماتها أيضا ,تطرق علي الفور إقتباس للفنان الهولندي فان جوغ في ذهني « أريد أن ألمس الناس بفني,أريدهم أن يقولو:لقد كان عميقا في الشعور,لقد كان لطيفا في الشعور« .عندها أدركت أن هذه الفنانة أيا كانت حقيقتها قد نجحت في تحويل مشاعرها إلي شئ يمكننا رؤيته بطرقنا المختلفة وكذلك تقدير هذا الشئ.

تحتوي الرسومات علي مشاعر عميقة والتي تبدوا واضحة للرؤية,وثمة توازن مابين اللحظات السعيدة وكذلك الحزينة,رقّة تظهر حتي في اللحظات السوداوية أو لحظات الوحدة.

« إنني شخص لا يجيد كيفية إستخدام الكلمات للتعبير عن العواطف,لحسن الحظ فهنالك الرسم ,إنه يمنحني القدرة علي إخبار قصة شعرت بها بطريقة متحررة من خلال الشخصية « .تقول لينا.

لا تقوم الفنانة لينا بخلق شخصيات بسيطة فحسب,بل إنها تقوم بخلق عالم حميمي من مختلف المشاعر والظروف والتي لها علاقة بحالات الإنسان في الحياة.

جو من الطمأنينة والتساؤل

لا تعجل نفسك,قد يكون فهم شخصيات لينا صعبة بعض الشئ في بداية رؤياتها,قد تسأل نفسك أيضا عن المعني الكامن وراء كل رسمة,إنها تجعلك تتسأل وتظل هادئا للحظات لتصل للمعني,لتسأل نفسك « ماذا يشعر الشخص المتواجد داخل هذه الرسمة؟« ,وتجذبك الطمأنينة التي تسيطر علي الرسمة لتجعلك تسعي أكثر للمعرفة والفهم والشعور .
