The most extraordinary street artist : “Banksy”

Although the fact that most people are aware of his artworks and political activities, the famous street artist Banksy’s personal life remain hide and mysterious, no one has ever managed to reach out and find out more about his full story.

London murals witness most of Banksy’s impressive artworks, and the artist has gained a remarkable reconnaissance from the public and stole its attention through his various ideas in which he presents in his masterpieces.

The artist was born in Bristol in 1974, and started his artistic journey in very earlier period with keeping his identity secret.

in 2003, his artworks started to be seen in Bristol murals, and people were curious about the face that’s behind all these impressive works, he quickly gained audience who showed a clear appreciation toward his masterpieces and became known as the extraordinary obscure street artist whom his fan seek to know and discover more about him.

Political and social messages through his street artworks

Banksy’s artworks maintain a clear and vivid perspective in which is featuring the world’s dearest cases such as wars, racism and more.

His artworks don’t focus on one specific issue or race or country, he speaks up for every human being through his artistic ways, silently and without living any trace to he’s personal life, He wants us to know him by his messages not by his face or biography.

In 2018, the anonymous artists made a solidarity mural artwork for Zehra Dogan, a Turkish artist, journalist and political activist who was sentenced to two years prison for a painting she made, adding to his other artworks in which he openly features his political opinions and ideas.

“Slave labor” is another work in which he created that was a protest against forced labor and modern slavery, the artwork was later removed and sold in very expansive price like the rest of his sold artworks.

Banksy’s art world is full of mystery and surprises, one of his biggest surprises artworks was “shredded girl with a balloon”, a canvas artwork that was first done on a mural, it was destroyed by the artist himself seconds after it was sold, he wanted to draw attention to the absurdity of the big global money art world.

Beside he’s mural artworks, Banksy is also known as a film director, by that, he was able to maintain various talents and be good at them, Banksy was selected to be one of the greatest London based street and contemporary artists, he was featured by popular magazines and his considered to be very inspiring artist who aims to leave an artistic mark in the world.

One of his latest artworks was a coronavirus inspired works that was done in London underground, it was encouraging people to wear mask and protect themselves against Coronavirus pandemic.

Despite that he was filmed while doing the coronavirus artwork, still he covered himself, and there wasn’t any chance to see his face, maybe the fact that he’s an anonymous is adding an enthusiasm and uniqueness sense in his life as an artist and his impressive artworks.

فهي لا تتركز حول قضية ,عرق أو بلد معين,إنه يتحدث بإسم كل إنسان من خلال وسائله الفنية,بهدوء ودون ترك أي أثر لحياته الشخصية,فهو يريدنا أن نعرفه من خلال رسائله وليس عبر وجهه أو قصة حياته.

في عام 2018,قام الرسام المجهول بعمل فني تضامني لزهرة دوغان,صحافية,رسامة وناشطة سياسية تم الحكم عليها بعامين سجن بسبب عمل فني قامت به,وقد قام بانكسي بأعمال أخري تصور أفكاره وأراءه السياسية.

Slave labor”  » هو عمل أخر قام به احتجاجا علي العمل الإجباري والعبودية الحديثة,تم إزاله العمل لاحقا وبيعه بسعر غالي كباقية أعماله الفنية.

عالم بانكسي الفني ملئ بالغموض والمفاجأت,واحدة من مفاجأته كانت عمله الفني  » Shredded girl with a balloon » , لوحة فنية قام بتدميره بعد لحظات من بيعها,أراد أن يلفت النظر لمدي تفاهة عالم الفن المالي.

إلي جانب أعماله الجدارية,يعد بانكسي مخرج أفلام,وبناء علي ذلك ,تمكن من المحافظة علي مواهب متعددة وإيجادها بشكل مبهر,تم إختياره ليكون واحد من أعظم الفنانين المعاصرين في بريطانيا,وتم إظهاره كشخصية مهمة من قبل مجلات مشهورة ويعد واحد من أهم الفنانين المؤثرين الذين يسعون لترك بصمتهم في العالم.

أخر أعماله تعبر عن جائحة كورونا داخل مترو الأنفاق في لندن,كتشجيع لإرتداء القناعة والحماية ضد الوباء,وعلي الرغم من أنه تم تصويره أثناء رسمه إلا أنه غطي نفسه بالكامل ولم يكن ثمة هناك أي فرصة لرؤية وجهه ,ربما كونه مجهولا يضيف شيئا من الحماس والتفرد في حياته كفنان وأعماله المبهرة .
