Dubai’s financial districts need art

It’s very uncommon and rare to find a commercial battement that’s covered by artworks, we lack the culture of emerging street art with financial business, maybe it’s even something that has never occur to the industrial world’s mind, but what if it’s possible to happen? Can you even imagine the result of such initiative?

Street art didn’t evolve rapidly, it took time, work and bravery to grow, evolve and be seen, then later to be respected as part of a great thing that has an impact in societies.

When people started to notice the importance of street art in cities, graffiti artists got encouraged more to create as much mural artworks as possible, starting from metro stations, abandoned cars, to more, however, despite the boundaries that street art has overstepped, it hasn’t managed yet to get closer into the world trade centers.

Some big cities like Manhattan have dared to include street art in its financial districts, the result was a wide magical vibrant and colorful world that has added an artistic identity to the area.

Why we need graffiti art inside the commercial neighborhoods in Dubai?

The answer is simple, we need it in order to add a soul to the place, to remind people the importance of enjoying life through art and colors.

The new generation is very occupied on seeking money, higher positions, however, it’s always important to have some rest time to time and enjoy the little things, to let ourselves be driven by these simple beautiful things and get in touch with them , we need moments of inspiration away from the chaotic commercial world.

I believe that having colorful financial battements will add a unique value to the UAE’s artistic and commercial side, adding to the positive impact that it will have among the inhabitants and tourists as well.

Such initiative could also be an encouragement to both artists and the public to seek for beauty not only material things and appreciate art with the aim of producing more artistic world that keeps inspiring us.

Creating an amicable environment between street artists and world trade

Art is something that connect us to each other, it’s an international language in which everyone understands despite the difference of our nationalities, cultures and our social backgrounds.

In the past, street art was a sort of a revolutionary movement that graffiti artists used to express their political, social ideas, however, it wasn’t taken serious among the art communities back then.

By the time, people started to notice the clear impact of street art in societies, and despite the fact that it wasn’t legal to paint on wall in random streets, still some graffiti artists managed to share what they have with the public by hiding in the middle of nights and paint.

In last past years, things started to change, and street art has developed in very positive and interesting manners, it’s now considering to be one of the most inspiring form of arts in societies.

However, despite the acceptance in which street art is receiving, it hasn’t reached a level of getting inside the world’s most financial districts, why? A very good question that need to be asked to both street artists and the commercial world.

In my side, I believe that one of the reasons that street art didn’t find a space in the commercial neighborhood could be due to the lack of a communication between them, graffiti artists should propose different ideas to the commercial world in which will improve the area and give a unique feature to the whole place.

artistic projects could play a grand role in improving Dubai’s financial district, we need an artistic transformation in the place, and to get involved more into an artistic environment that will help us to deal with every day’s pressure and burden.

أحياء دبي التجارية بحاجة إلي فن الجرافيتي

إنه لمن الأمر النادر وغير الشائع العثور علي مبني تجاري مغطي بعمل فني,ينقصنا ثقافة دمج فن الجرافيتي مع العمل التجاري,ربما لأنه من الأمور التي لم تخطر قط علي بال المجتمع التجاري,ولكن ماذا لو كان ذلك ممكن الحدوث؟ هل تتخيلون نتيجة مثل هذه المبادرة.

لم يتطور فن الرسم في الشارع بشكل سريع,بل احتاج إلي الوقت والعمل وكذلك الشجاعة ليتطور ويكون مرئيا,ولاحقا يكسب الإحترام كجزء من شيئ له أثر ملحوظ في المجتمع.

عندما بدء الناس في ملاحظة أهمية الفن في المدن,تشجع فنانين الجرافيتي للقيام بأعمال فنية جدارية قدر الإمكان,بدءا من محطات المترو,السيارات الغير مستعملة إلي المزيد ,وعلي الرغم من الحدود التي كان علي فن الجرافيتي أن يعبرها حتي يتم إحترامه كفن إلا أنه لم يتمكن من الإقتراب أكثر للعالم التجاري.

في الأونة الأخيرة,تجرأت بعض المدن الكبيري مثل مانهاتان في إدراج فن الشارع داخل أحيائها التجارية,والنتيجة كانت عالم واسع من السحر والألوان المشرقة التي أضافت هوية فنية للمكان.

لماذا نحتاج لفن الجرافيتي داخل المناطق التجارية في دبي؟

إجابة هذا السؤال سهل وبسيط,نحن بحاجة إليه حتي نضيف روحا للمكان ولتذكير العامة بمدي أهمية الإستمتاع بالحياة عبر الألوان والفن.

انشغل الجيل الجديد بالسعي وراء المال والمناصب العليا,ولكن من المهم دائما الحصول علي قسط من الراحة من حين لأخر والإستمتاع بالأمور البسيطة وإتاحة المجال للأمور البسيطة الرائعة لقيادتنا بما في ذلك تكوين علاقة معها,نحن بحاجة للحظات ملهمة بعيدا عن فوضي العالم التجاري.

أعتقد أن إمتلاك مباني تجارية ملونة سوف يضيف قيمة لجانب دبي الفني والإقتصادي,وذلك بالإضافة للأثر الإيجابي الذي سيخلفه للسكان المحليين والسياح.

إن مبادرة كتلك قد تعد تشجيعا لكلا من فنانين الجرافيتي والعامة للسعي نحو الجمال وليس نحو الماديات,إلي جانب تقدير الفن مع هدف إنتاج المزيد من العالم الفني الذي يستمر في إلهامنا.

إنشاء بيئة محببة بين رسامين الجرافيتي والعالم التجاري

الفن لهو شيئ يوصلنا ببعض,حيث أنه يعد لغة عالمية يفهمها الجميع رغم إختلاف الجنسيات والثقافات والخلفيات الإجتماعية.

في السابق كان فن الجرافيتي يعد نوعا ما حركة ثورية يعبر رسامين الجرافيتي من خلالها أفكارهم السياسية والإجتماعية,ولم يتم إتخاذه علي محمل الجد كنوع من الفنون القائمة .

مع الوقت,بدء الناس يلاحظون مدي التأثير الواضح لرسم الجرافيتي في المجتمعات,وعلي الرغم من كون الرسم علي الجدران لم يكن مشرع قانونيا أنذاك,إلا أنه تمكن بعض الفنانين من مشاركة مايمتلكونه مع العامة وذلك عبر الإختباء في منتصف الليالي والرسم .

في الأونة الأخيرة,بدئت الأمور تتخذ مسارات جديدة ومختلفة,وتطور فن الجرافيتي بطرق إيجابية مبهرة,حيث أنه يعتبر الأن واحدة من أهم أشكال الفنون المؤثرة في المجتمعات.

وعلي الرغم من القبول الذي تلقاه فن الجرافيتي إلا أنه لم يصل لمرحلة الدخول للعالم التجاري,لماذا؟ سؤال جيد بحاجة إلي طرحه علي كلا من فنانين الجرافيتي والعالم التجاري.

قد تكون قلة التواصل مابين فنانين الجرافيتي والعالم التجاري واحدة من أهم الأسباب التي جعلت فن الجرافيتي غير قادر علي إيجاد مساحة في العالم التجاري ,علي فنانين الجرافيتي عرض أفكارهم الفنية المختلفة القادرة علي تغير المجتمع التجاري ومنحها ملامح فريدة.

قد تلعب المشاريع الفنية دورا كبيرا في تطوير حي دبي التجاري ,نحن بحاجة إلي تغير فني في المكان وأن نتورط أكثر داخل بيئة الفنية والتي ستساعدنا علي التعامل مع الضغط والعبء اليومي.
