Live our heritage festival in Dubai 2020

The 11^thedition of live our heritage festival has opened its doors to visitors to enjoy moments of exploring the UAE culture, heritage and lifestyle.

The event started from 25 October 2020 and will end in 18 April 2021, it focuses on presenting the source of tradition and heritage with the aim of preserving and reviving this culture among local and international visitors.

It’s an annual festival that’s been taking place in various cultural sites in the UAE with the support of the Emirati authorities in order to create a cultural environment that enriches the country.

Every year, the festival receives an appreciation among the public, adding to the international visitors whom are willing to know more about the history of one of the most developed countries in the world.

Educating the public about the UAE heritage

Many activities could be found in the event, starting from the UAE traditional handcrafts, folk dances and more.

It’s an opportunity for the new generation to learn about their past, to explore the creativity that has always existed in the city, and to revive that culture and give it the value among the whole world.

In addition, the festival has unique spaces for art workshops, and special place for kids to live memorable moments of culture education and entertainment.

Rich programs are strongly present; you can discover various things of the old UAE that might still exists.

Traditional coffee could as well be found as a part of the presentation, beside the Emirati cuisine, traditional crafts, poetry and local traditional arts.

One of the longest heritage festivals in the region

“Live our heritage” is one of the most noticeable heritage festivals that take place every year in the Arabic region.

It has maintained the sense of the Arabic old culture with including the creativity side in everything that’s showing to the world.

It’s not an event that only concerns the Emirati residents, in fact, it’s an invitation to explore the beauty of our Arabic heritage, a call to preserve our culture from fading away among this fast development that’s happening in our cities.

The period that has been set up for the festival is long, in order to offer enough time to visitors to learn more about this wonderful heritage and to enjoy every moment of it.

It’s also provides an opportunity for international visitors whom live outside the Emirati societies to organize themselves and get the time to visit this precious culture.

Notable personalities pay a visit to the festival, as an initiative to spread awareness among their audiences and remind them the importance of preserving our culture.

“This festival is a clear indication of Dubai Culture’s efforts to preserve the UAE’s heritage. It also contributes to keeping our heritage alive in the youths’ minds and enlightening Global Village visitors on the vocabulary of our UAE heritage as the country is a hub that attracts tourists from all over the world. Such events emphasize the civilization that prevailed in the region and the ability of Emirati people to adapt to different environments.” said Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Hasher Al Maktoum.

مهرجان دبي وتراثنا الحي 2020

أطلق مهرجان دبي وتراثنا الحي نسخته الحادية عشر وتم فتح الأبواب للزوار للإستمتاع بلحظات إستكشافية لتراث دولة الإمارات المتحدة وثقافاتها.

بدئت الفعالية يوم 25أكتوبر2020وسينتهي يوم 18إبريل,ويتركز حول تقديم مصدر ثقافة البلد وتراثها بهدف المحافظة عليها وسط الزوار المحليين والدوليين.

ويعد هذا المهرجان حدثا سنويا يتم في مواقع تراثية مختلفة داخل دولة الإمارات المتحدة,و يحظي علي دعم السلطات الإماراتية كنوع من إنشاء بيئة ثقافية تقوم بإثراء البلد.

يتلقي الحدث كل عام تقديرا واضحا من قبل العامة,إلي جانب الزوار الدوليين الذين يسعون لمعرفة المزيد عن تاريخ واحدة من أهم الدول المتقدمة في العالم.

تثقيف العامة حول تراث الإمارات المتحدة

تتوجد الكثير من الأنشطة داخل الحدث,وذلك بدءا من الأعمال اليدوية التراثية المنتمية للإمارات حتي الوصول إلي الرقصات الشعبية والمزيد.

إنها فرصة ليتعلم الجيل الجديد عن مضيهم وليكتشفوا الموهبة التي لطالما تواجدت في المدينة,ولإحياء هذه الثقافة ومنحها قيمة وسط العالم .

إضافة إلي كل ذلك,يمتلك المهرجان مساحات مميزة لورشات العمل الفنية ومكان مخصص للأطفال ليعيشوا لحظات تذكارية من الثقافة والترفيه.

ثمة حضور قوي لبرامج مميزة داخل المهرجان,حيث بإمكانك إستكشاف أمور مختلفة متعلقة بدولة الإمارات القديمة و التي لا تزال موجودة .

يتم تقديم القهوة التقليدية داخل المهرجان إلي جانب المطبخ الإماراتي,والأعمال اليدوية التقليدية ,الشعر وكذلك الفنون المحلية.

واحدة من أطول المهرجانات التراثية في المنطقة

تعد هذه الفعالية واحدة من أهم المهرجانات التي تستولي علي مكان مميز داخل المنطقة العربية,فقد تمكنت من المحافظة علي جزء من الثقافة العربية القديمة مع إضافة الجانب الإبداعي في كل مايتم تقديمه للعامل من خلالها.

إنها ليست فعالية مخصصة لسكان الإمارات فحسب,إذ أنها دعوة لإسكتشاف جمال تراثنا العربي,كما انه نداء للمحافظة علي الثقافة من التلاشي وسط هذا التقدم السريع الذي يحدث في مجتمعاتنا.

وقد تم تخصيص فترة طويلة للمهرجان وذلك بهدف منح الوقت الكافي للزوار ليتعلموا المزيد عن هذا التراث الرائع والإستمتاع بكل جزء منه.

كما أنه يوفر للزوار الدوليين الذين يعيشون خارج البلد فرصة تنظيم نفسهم للحصول علي وقت لزيارة هذه الثقافة

الثمينة.

يحضر المهرجان العديد من الشخصيات المشهورة والمؤثرة كمبادرة لنشر الوعي حول أهمية التراث وسط جمهورهم.

« يعد هذا المهرجان مؤشرة واضحة علي المجهودات المبذولة من قبل دبي للثقافة للمحافظة علي تراث دولة الإمارات.كما أنه يساهم في إبقاء تراثنا وإحيائها داخل عقول الشباب وكذلك إلقاء الضوء علي القرية العالمية كجزء من تراث دولة الإمارات المتحدة وكونها محور جاذبة للزوار من قبل جميع الدول المختلفة.

تقوم مثل هذه الفعاليات بتأكيد الحضارة السائدة في المنطقة وكذلك إظهار قدرة الشعب الإماراتي علي التأقلم والتكيف مع البيئات المختلفة« .هكذا عبرت معاليها الشيخة فاطمة بنت حاشر أل مكتوم.
