HASSAN MASSOUDY : Probably on of the most important arabic calligrapher of the century

Today we’re representing a brilliant artist who was born in 1944 in nadjif in Iraq, during his childhood HASSAN MASSOUDY was interested in the world of art and started to draw. he had the chance to travel to Paris and get deeper into that wonderful world at l’ecole de beaux art.

He participated in several exhibitions in the middle east such as the Dubai international Arabic calligraphy exhibition. His works include Arabic wisdoms and poetries of familiar figures, he also uses some wisdoms from different cultures not only the Arabic ones.

Powerfull and intense arabic calligraphy

The vibe of the colors in his artworks is tolerance and brings them into life, he has managed to keep his style as a calligraphic and painter as well ,the details in every single art of him leave a warmth feelings and make you impressed by its balance ,the movement and the stillness that occurs with every letter and text brings joy and hope to the spectator and take you over his magical world.

You don’t need to understand Arab in order to get into HASSAN MASSOUDY’s mind and feel the messages beyond what he Creates, he has succeeded to attract people into his imagination by offering them these marvelous pieces of art without any complexity or boredom.

Always positive energy

HASSAN MASSOUDY’s works also contain peacefulness and positive messages which meant to be universal, understandable by all nationalities and all kind of generations. In interview of him with the Arab British center HASSAN said “All I aim for my work is that the person who looks at it feels serenity, because art is a necessity for human soul, as it is poetry and music, the excerpts of the texts that I turn into calligraphy are poetic and humanist”

HASSAN MASSOUDY tends to unite all the different cultures and people around the world into his art and texts, it’s a message of peace and hope and forgiveness.

سنقوم اليوم بتقديم الفنان المبدع الذي ولد سنة1944في مدينة النجف في العراق حسان مسعود.

خلال طفولته كان حسان مسعود مهتما بعالم الفن وبدء بالرسم منذ تلك المرحلة,حصل علي فرصة ذهبية للسفر إلي باريس ليتعمق أكثر داخل ذلك العالم المدهش في مدرسة الفنون الجميلة .

قام بالمشاركة في العديد من المعارض الفنية في الشرق الأوسط مثل معرض دبي العالمي للكتابة العربية .

تحمل أعماله في طياتها حكم وأشعار عربية لشخصيات معروفة ومشهورة,كما أنه يستخدم أيضا حكم من ثقافات مختلفة وليس محصورا فحسب علي االثقافة العربية.

إن إحساس الألوان في أعماله تتسم بالتسامح وتحضرها للحياة,لقد استطاع أن يحافظ علي أسلوبه الخاص كخطاط ورسام .

إن التفاصيل في كل عمل من أعماله تترك شعور بالدفء ويجعلك متأثرا بتوازنها,الحركات والهدوء اللذان يظهران في كل حرف وكتابة يبثان الفرحة والأمل في عين المشاهد ويأخذك نحو عالمه السحري المشوق.

لست بحاجة إلي فهم اللغة العربية كي تتمكن من الدخول إلي عقل حسان مسعود وفهم الرسالة المقصودة وراء ما يصنعه ,لقد نجح بالفعل في جذب الناس الي مخيلته من خلال توفيرهم هذه الأعمال الفنية الرائعة دون الحاجة إلي تعقيد أو تدخل عنصر الملل فيهما.

إن أعمال حسان مسعود تحتوي أيضا علي السلام والرسائل الإيجابية التي عُنيت أن تكون عالمية ,ومفهومة من قبل جميع الجنسيات وكذلك جميع الأجيال.

في مقابلة معه مع المركز العربي البريطاني قال « كُل ما أهدف إليه من فني هو ان يشعر المشاهد بالصفاء والهدوء,لأن الفن هو حاجة للروح البشري كما الشعر والموسيقي,إن المقطتفات النصية التي أُحولها إلي خطوط لهي شاعيرية وإنسانية « .

يميل الفنان حسان مسعود إلي توحيد كل الثقافات المختلفة والناس حول العالم خلال فنه وكتاباته ,إنها رسالة سلام وأمل وسماح .
