The world’s longest graffiti wall at Jumeirah Beach in Dubai

In 2014 while the UEA was celebrating its 43^rdnational day, Dubai has presented a huge graffiti wall in which recounts a story of the UEA’s journey through colors and paintings.

Measuring 2,2454meters in length, the world’s longest graffiti wall has broken the Guinness record, and it was thinks to the multi-national graffiti artists team whom worked in that project and gave us that amazing piece of art.

The project called “Rehlatna” which in English means our journey, it was meant to present Dubai’s transition and progress over all the past years.

The paintings have consisted of various artistic themes and artistic styles in which have helped on giving the mural an interesting look.

An extraordinary way to celebrate UAE’s national day

The project was the first artistic project in which was made particularly for celebrating a national day in the Middle east, therefore it’s was extremely important to Dubai specifically and the middle east in general, showing a clear sincere intention of striving to enter art in the city.

The whole paintings were specifically chosen to show the other side of Dubai to the world, and to share its own story with its inhabitants.

However, the fact that the project broke the Guinness world record itself for being the longest graffiti wall is indeed a phenomenal thing.

The biggest collaborative graffiti painting in the world

The graffiti paintings were done by more than 100 international artists, merging all these creative minds and artistic hands, Dubai was able to reach an amazing phase of uniting artists from different nationalities to create one piece of art.

The event was well -welcomed by the habitants of the UAE, they were curious about what was happening and impressed by the finish results in which those talented artists have shown and offered.

There were Arabic artists who have participated in that graffiti painting, each holding’s own artistic style and sharing it with the public.

The world’s biggest graffiti painting wall was painted with around 7,000 ecofriendly aerosol paint can in various colors.

Showcasing Dubai’s traditional and developed life

The artworks depict a glance of the UEA’s life in each artwork, showing the ancient UAE and the new one, the leftover from its past and the present, showcasing its Animals like Camels and Eagles, adding to Arabic mountains and various symbols in which relate to UEA lifestyle.

In addition, the project holds a side of the rapid development that the city has witnessed during the past years, a remarkable story that was told through art and passion.

أطول رسم جرافيتي في العالم داخل شاطئ الجميرا في دبي

في عام 2014عندما كانت دولة الإمارات المتحدة تحتفل بيومها الوطني الثالث والأربعين,قدمت دبي رسم جرافيتي كبيرة والذي يروي رحلة الإمارات من خلال الألوان والرسومات .

بقياس2و2454متر حقق هذا الرسم الجرافيتي رقم قياسي علي موقع جينيس للأرقام لكونه أطول حائط رسم جرافيتي في العالم,وكان ذلك بفضل رسامين الشارع المتعددي الجنسيات الذين عملوا في هذا المشروع ومنحونا هذه التحفة الفنية العظيمة .

سمي المشروع بإسم « رحلتنا« ,وهو يقدم التطورات التي حصلت لدبي خلال السنوات الماضية .

تكونت الرسومات من العديد من المواضيع والأساليب الفنية المختلفة والتي ساعدت علي منح الجدار مظهر مثير للإهتمام.

طريقة غير اعتيادية للإحتفال باليوم الوطني لدولة الإمارات المتحدة

يُعد هذا المشروع أول مشروعا فنيا أقيم خصيصا للإحتفال بيوم وطني في الشرق الأوسط,ومن هنا كان هذا المشروع مهما لدبي علي وجه الخصوص وللشرق الأوسط علي وجه العموم,مبديا نية صادقة لدمج الفن داخل المدن .

تم إختيار الرسومات لتُظهر الجانب الأخر لدبي علي وجه التحديد للعالم ,ولتشارك قصتها الخاصة مع سكانها,وكون المشروع حقق رقما قياسيا لكونه أطول جرافيتي في العالم لهو بالفعل أمر استثنائي ومميز.

أكبر تعاون في مجال رسم الجرافيتي في العالم

تمت الرسومات الجرافيتية عن طريق أكثر من100فنانين دوليين,وبجمع كل هذه العقول المبدعة والأيادي الفنية تمكنت دبي من الوصول لمرحلة مبهرة من توحيد رسامين متعددي الجنسيات وذلك لغرض إنشاء قطعة فنية واحدة.

تلقت المناسبة استقبالات جيدة من قبل سكان الإمارات المتحدة,انتابهم الفضول حول ما كان يحدث وكانوا منبهرين بالنتائج النهائية التي أبدتها هؤولاء الفنانين ومنحوها للعامة.

كان ثمة حضور للرسامين العرب الذي شاركوا أيضا في رسم الجدار,كل منهم حاملا أسلوبا فنيا مشاركا اياه مع العالم.

تم رسم أطول رسم جرافيتي بإستخدام مايقارب7,000علب للرش صديقة للبيئة وبألوان مختلفة.

عرض حياة دبي التقليدية والمتقدمة

تقوم الأعمال الفنية بوصف وتقديم لمحة عن حياة المملكة العربية المتحدة داخل كل واحدة من هذه الأعمال,ظاهرا دبي القديمة وكذلك الجديدة,ماتبقي من ماضيها وحاضرها,وكذلك عرض حيوانتها المختلفة مثل الجمال والصقور,بالإضافة للجبال العربية ورموز مختلفة لها علاقة بالأسلوب المعيشي للملكة.

إضافة إلي جميع ما سبق فإن المشروع يحمل أيضا في طياته التقدم السريع الذي شاهدته المدينة خلال السنوات الماضية,إنها لقصة مهمة تم سردها من خلال الفن والشغف.
