When Disney invited us to take part in a private Marvel launch event, the brief was clear: create a graphic experience that felt as energetic as the heroes on screen, while offering every guest a truly personal souvenir. The evening was hosted in a club-style venue, with dramatic lighting, Marvel costumes on display and large-scale visuals setting the scene. In the middle of this immersive set-up, our team of four graffiti artists spent the night customising black notebooks for VIP guests, influencers, journalists and close partners of the brand.
Each notebook became a small canvas. Names, nicknames and social media handles were written in bold, playful graffiti lettering, layered with metallic and fluorescent highlights. Instead of a generic gift, every attendee left with an object that carried their own identity and the visual energy of the Marvel universe. The format was deliberately compact and mobile: the artists worked from a minimalist desk set-up, which meant the activation could easily have been placed in any lounge, private room or backstage area of a premium venue in Dubai as well.
For brands planning launches or anniversary events in Dubai, this kind of live notebook personalization offers a powerful balance: it is intimate enough to feel bespoke for each guest, yet fast and efficient for high volumes. Throughout the evening, our artists produced between 150 and 200 customised notebooks, all with legible, characterful lettering that looked great in photos and social media stories. The activation quickly became a hotspot within the event, with guests queuing to see their name transformed into a miniature graffiti logo.
This approach is part of a wider expertise we have built with luxury and lifestyle brands. We regularly design live leather personalization concepts, such as our Lacoste corporate event in Dubai or the anniversary activation for Lacoste in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The same craft-driven attention to detail appears in our projects for Montblanc, from the Urban Spirit leather display in Barcelona to the live leather personalization in Dubai and the Harrods in-store activation. We have also developed bespoke experiences for hospitality and drinks brands, including Dalmore in Dubai, as well as high-end fashion houses such as Christian Dior eyewear, Jimmy Choo and the more editorial, craft-focused vegan leather activation for Paul Marius. For more playful formats, we also design live apparel customization such as the Sephora summer party T-shirt workshop in Dubai or premium engraving bars for automotive clients like Mercedes-Benz.
All these experiences share the same DNA: a strong, coherent graphic language, a focus on quality materials, and a team trained to handle large flows of guests without sacrificing creativity. For event planners in Dubai looking to surprise demanding audiences, the Disney Marvel notebook bar is a clear example of how live graffiti can feel both playful and perfectly on-brand.
With the announcement of Disneyland Abu Dhabi on Yas Island, the region is preparing to welcome the first Disney theme park in the Middle East. This future destination, developed by Miral in collaboration with Disney Imagineering, aims to blend iconic Disney storytelling with the architecture and culture of Abu Dhabi. In this context, live graffiti and customization experiences open interesting possibilities: VIP preview nights, influencer events, annual passholder gatherings or press days could all benefit from a dedicated personalization zone where guests receive custom notebooks, posters or leather goods inspired by the worlds they have just explored in the park.
Beyond events, our work in Dubai shows how graffiti-style illustration and typography can also feed into permanent decorative concepts: hand-painted or digitally produced murals for lounges and restaurants, bespoke signage for retail spaces, or collectible objects created for launch campaigns. By combining the visual codes of Marvel, Star Wars or classic Disney stories with the energy of contemporary urban art, we help brands build memorable bridges between global franchises and local audiences in Dubai and, soon, Abu Dhabi.
