Amine El Bach : The painter of joy and simplicity in the middle eastern

The tenderness and his love for his country was part of his artistic identity, Amine El Bacha was born in Beirut in 1932, a Lebanese painter and writer, who has graduated from the Lebanese academy of fine arts.

After graduating from the Lebanese Academy of Fine Arts, Amine gained a scholarship to continue his arts study in France, there, his artistic vision has expensed and he started to learn more about that world.

In earlier age, Amine showed a remarkable passion toward anything relates to arts, starting from painting, writing to musique.

The artist was born and raised inside an artistic environment, his brother was a renowned composer and musician called Toufic El Bacha, Amine learned playing on the violin and had experienced various artistic fields, however he has chosen to concentrate on painting and writing.

The painter was known of carrying an artistic diary to whenever he went in order to paint anything interesting, he might find in his way, therefore he has managed to collect plenty of views of his city and paint them.

He was an important member of the Lebanese artists association-painters and sculptures, and he was art professor in Lebanon, and he’s known as a painter of joy in the Middle east.

Recounting the story of his City in an artistic diary

Amine’s artworks were a reflection of Beirut, it was clear that the artist had a very special relationship with his city and wanted to express that through his own language, it seems that he has transmitted the whole city into colors and magical forms that allow you to observe the soul that has admired its Home passionately and wanted to immortalize it through art.

Despite the different cultures and various types of arts styles and cities that he has seen and experienced, Amine was able to maintain his own style and to keep showcasing his own country in most of his works.

He painted every single state he has lived and felt in Beirut, from cafes gatherings, closed Lebanese houses, the calmness of the city and its chaos.

Landscapes, gardens, still life, cafes and more

Amine’s world is a combination of beauty and tranquility, a childhood imagination with professional hands, and when I say childhood, I mean the innocence that occurs in his artworks and the peaceful sensation in which you receive with each of his artworks.

Adding to Beirut’s streets, the artist’s artworks showcase gardens and flowers, there’s also a presence of birds in most of his works.

In addition, Amine has painted several still life paintings, showing fruits and various things, he also used to spend some of his times in cafes and has shown that side of his life in his pieces of arts.

He has a gentle method on using water colors, and it’s obvious in his artworks, his tenderness was clear by the way he painted his flowers and serene personas.

Amine’s artistic activities and journeys

He has participated in several group of exhibitions, in Paris and Spain in which he has spent most of his life, he exposed inside the middle east as well, in Alexandria in 1962, and several times in Beirut.

The painter has received several prizes, such as the prize of the French embassy at the Autumn salon in Beirut (1958), and the gold medal of Citta Eterna prize in Rome (1976).

He also published several books, one of them was companied with some of his artworks.

Amine passed away in February 2019, living his artistic mark and his love for his country through his masterpieces.

رسام البهجة والبساطة في الشرق الأوسط:أمين الباشا

كانت الرقة وحبه الشديد لوطنه جزءا من هويته,ولد أمين الباشا في بيروت عام 1932,وهو رسام وكاتب لبناني,تخرج من أكاديمية لبنان للفنون الجميلة .

حصل علي منحة بعد تخرجه من الأكاديمية لإتمام دراسته في مجال الفنون في فرنسا,ومن هناك,توسعت أفاقه الفنية وبدء بتعلم الكثير عن هذا العالم.

أظهر أمين شغفه تجاه أي شئ له علاقة بالفن وذلك في مرحلة مبكرة,بدءا من الرسم والكتابة إلي الموسيقي.

ولد الفنان في بيئة فنية وترعرع فيها,حيث أن أخوه هو الموسيقار المعروف توفيق الباشا ,تعلم أمين العزف علي الكمان وعاش في تجارب متعددة في مجال الفن,ولكنه اختار التركيز في الرسم والكتابة .

عرف الفنان بحمله لمدونته الفنية أينما ذهب وذلك ليرسم أي شئ قد يقابله في طريقه مثيرا للإهتمام,ومن خلال هذا جمع العديد من مشاهد المدينة ورسمها.

كان عضوا بارزا ومهما في جمعية الفنانين اللبنانيين للرسم والنحت ,وكان مدرس للرسم داخل لبنان,وقد عرف بكونه رسام البهجة في الشرق الأوسط.

سرد قصة مدينته في مدونته الفنية

تتمثل أعمال أمين في إظهار وانعكاس بيروت,وقد كنت علاقة الفنان بمدينته واضحة بكونها علاقة خاصة جدا وأراد أن يعبر عن ذلك من خلال لغته الخاصة.

من الواضح أنه قام بنقل مدينة كاملة وتحويلها إلي ألوان وأشكال ساحرة تٌمَّكنك من مشاهدة الروح التي أحبت موطنها بشغف وأراد تخليدها عبر الفن.

علي الرغم من الثقافات المتعددة والأساليب الفنية المتنوعة وكذلك المدن التي عاشها الفنان إلا أنه كان قادرا علي محافظة أسلوبه الخاص وإظهار موطنه في معظم أعماله.

رسم كل حالة عاشها وشعر بها داخل بيروت بدءا من تجمعات المقاهي إلي البيوت اللبنانية المغلقة,هدوء المدينة وكذلك فوضويتها.

إن عالم الفنان أمين لهو خليط من الجمال والسكون,خيال طفولي بأيادي محترفة,وعندما أقول طفولي فأقصد هنا البراءاة التي تظهر في أعماله والإحساس بالسلام الذي تستقبله مع كل عمل من أعماله.

إضافة إلي رسم شوارع بيروت ,تعرض أعمال الفنان أمين حدائق وفواكه وأمور متعددة,كما أنه اعتاد في بعض أوقاته علي الإرتداد في المقاهي وقد صور ذلك الجزء من حياته في أعماله الفنية.

كان يمتلك لمسة لطيفة عندما يتعلق الأمر بإستخدام الألوان المائية,وذلك واضح في أعماله,كان لطفه جاليا من خلال طريقة رسمه للورود وشخصياته الهادئة.

أنشطة ورحلات أمين الفنية

شارك في مجموعة من المعارض الفنية داخل باريس وأيضا في إسبانيا حيث قضي معظم فترات حياته,عرض أعماله أيضا داخل الشرق الأوسط,في الإسكندرية عام 1962ومرات عديدة في بيروت.

فاز العديد من الجوائز مثل جائزة السفارة الفرنسية في صالون الخريف« بيروت« عام1958,وميداليا ذهبية في روما عام 1976.

قام بنشر العديد من الكتب,واحد منها مرافق لرسوماته.

توفي أمين في شهر فبراير عام 2019تاركا علامته الفنية وحبه لموطنه من خلال تحفه الفنية .
