Yann chatelain: when graffiti is combined with calligraphy to give us a superior artwork

A young talented street artist whose works show an impressive creativity and elegant inspiring artistic soul, Yann is known for his contribution in adorning Casablanca’s murals with art.
He also known for his huge artistic activities in the middle east, whether being a part of an artistic gathering or others activities, and was influenced by the Arabic culture and showed that impact in his paintings, he has sold several artworks and has gained remarkable followers on Instagram whom appreciate his artworks and encourage him to create more art.
However, we couldn’t find more personal information about the artist which is a shame regarding to the captivating artworks that he creates.
A unique and special artistic style
Yann has a very extraordinary style in which is clear in his artworks, his paintings are surrounded with vibrant colors, he tends to use blue and gold in most of his masterpieces in which give the work a sensation of vitality and life.
He merges his paintings with Arabic calligraphy and lettering art, sometimes he paints hair that consists only calligraphy, he also has painted several portraits of famous figures combining their faces with lettering art.

كما أنه يعرف بمشاركته في الأنشطة الفنية الضخمة التي تقام في الشرق الأوسط, سواء كان ذلك من خلال تجمع فني أو أنشطة فنية أخري, وقد تأثر بالثقافة العربية وأظهر هذا التأثير في أعماله ورسوماته.
قام ببيع العديد من اللوحات الفنية كما أنه كسب عدد من المتابعين الملحوظين والذين يقدرون أعماله الفنية ويقومون بتشجيعه من خلال موقع « الإنستجرام ».
لكننا للأسف لم نتمكن من العثور علي المزيد من المعلومات الشخصية االخاصة به مما نعده أمرا مؤسفا للغاية نظرا لما يقوم به من أعمال فنية خلابة.
أسلوب فني خاص وفريد
يمتلك الرسام يان أسلوب فني استثنائي والذي يبدوا واضحا في أعماله, فأعماله محاطة بألوان نابضة بالحياة, ويميل لإستخدام اللون الأزرق والذهبي في معظم تٌحَفه الفنية والذي يعطي العمل إحساسا من الحيوية والحياة.
يقوم بدمج رسوماته مع فن الخط العربي, كما أنه في بعض الأحيان يقوم برسم شعر مكون من كتابات فحسب, قام أيضا برسم العديد من صور مشاهير وشخصيات معروفة مع مزج وجوههم بفن الخط.

2. No name
The painting has no title, and it’s one of my favorite from Yann’s works, I loved almost every single detail on it, the red color, the flying and moving letters that taking a ball form, also the different colors that were used inside the hair lettering, you can find several meanings inside the painting, for instant at the first sight I thought about revolution, and after several observations I had another idea about singing, it was like playing with the content, I think that everyone can see various meanings in this painting, which is totally fine, after all it’s about fun so why taking art so serious.?.

2. بلا إسم
هذه الرسمة لا تمتلك عنوان, وهي من إحدي أعمال الفنان يان المفضلة لدي, أحببت كل تفصيلة فيها ,اللون الأحمر,الكتابات التي تبدوا وكأنها تتحرك وتطير والتي تأخذ الشكل الكروي,وكذلك الألوان المختلفة التي تم استخدامها داخل الكتابات المكونة للشَّعْر, يمكنك العثور علي معاني متعددة داخل هذه الرسمة, فعلي سبيل المثال عندما شاهدتها أول مرة اتجهت تفكيري مباشرة نحو الثورة, وبعد ملاحظات متعددة وجدت فكرة أخري تتعلق بالغناء, الأمر أشبه باللعب مع المحتوي ,وأعتقد أن كل شخص يمكن رؤية معاني مختلفة داخل هذه الرسمة , وهذا بالطبع أمر لابأس منه, ففي النهاية الأمر كله يتعلق بالمتعة, فلماذا نأخذ الفن علي محل الجد ..؟
